His Eminence Mugsang Kuchen Rinpoche of the Nyingma School Palyul Tradition will conduct the special empowerment as well as preside over the other prayer activities. His Eminence is the unmistaken reincarnation of the great Vajradhara Terton Migyur Dorje and is also one of the heart sons of His Holiness the 3rd Pema Norbu Rinpoche. He is also currently the abbot of Namdrolling Monastery in South India with over 5,000 monks under him. For the Grand Mahakala Puja, the Philippine Palyul Dharma Center is making Tormas available for sponsorship. According to Guru Rinpoche “All spiritual attainments can be accomplished through torma. Both meritorious deeds and wisdom are intensified through torma.” Please do not miss this fortunate and auspicious opportunity to engage in activities that multiply your merits many times fold. Interested parties may contact the Philippine Palyul Dharma Center at 715-2090 or through its Facebook page to reserve the tormas as early as possible as quantities are limited.

DONATIONS FOR THE LIFE RELEASE

On March 28, 2015, the Philippine Palyul Dharma Center will conduct the releasing of precious lives. Life Release is the Buddhist practice of saving the lives of animals held captive and destined for slaughter. Through your generous donations, we hope to rescue and save as many fishes and marine animals for their release back into their natural habitat for them to thrive. The time and venue for the Life Release is yet to be announced. For those who are interested in joining this activity, please register ahead by calling 715-2090. Registration fees for the boat ride may apply.

About the Center

Through the kind intercession of the late Venerable Chodak Gyatso Rinpoche - the resident spiritual advisor for the Hong Kong Palyul Center, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche accepted an invitation from his devout followers living in the Philippines to visit the country. In 1992, HH Penor Rinpoche travelled to the Philippines together with several important lamas. After seeing the conditions in the Philippines, HH Penor Rinpoche was overcome with compassion and agreed to open a Palyul center. Since then, HH Penor Rinpoche visits the Philippines and gives teachings and empowerments about every two years. Our first resident spiritual advisor was Kalsang Rinpoche. He was followed by Lama Gyurme. Currently, Samten Phunchhok Rinpoche is assigned to our center. He occasionally gives Dharma discourses and performs pujas upon request.

Weekly Pujas at the Center

Regular pujas are held at the Center every Saturday at 6 pm. Everyone is invited to join. For more details, please check our Calendar of Events.

We also have ongoing dharma talks on Ngondro Practice every week. Please contact any lama at 715-2090 to obtain the schedule.
