June 5 – Manila | This year, the members of Philippine Palyul Center, led by Khenpo Tashi, made the annual monastic robe offering to the mother monastery.
The day after Sanggye Duchen (Buddha’s enlightenment and parinirvana), Chief of Namdroling Monastery Mugsang Kuchen Rinpoche offered the sponsored monastic robes to the entire ordained Sangha.
This is the first year that the Philippine center and its members sponsored the annual monastic robes offering to the ordained Sangha. We graciously thank all the donors who contributed to this grand offering.
In the past, members of other centers of Namdroling Monastery have sponsored this meritorious annual offering, such as Kaohsiung Palyul Nyingma Buddhist Center (2022), Singapore Palyul Dharma Center (2020), Yayasan Pema Norbu Vihara (2019) and so on.
May the merit accumulated in this act of generosity be dedicated to the enlightenment of all sentient beings!
