First Lumbini Grand Prayer Festival

The First Nyingma Grand Prayer Festival (Tibetan: “Monlam Chenmo”) was successfully held in Lumbini, Nepal on the 29th of May 2018.

It was presided by HH Mugsang Chogtrul Rinpoche, one of the three heart sons of Penor Rinpoche.

There was a cake-cutting ceremony with other revered monastics from other Buddhist traditions. Afterwards, there was also the sacred symbolic offering of the mandala, the Buddha statue, the Buddhist pecha and the stupa, amongst many others traditional offerings. These long line of offerings symbolize many things, one of them is our immeasurable gratitude to Mugsang Rinpoche for serving as our teacher and guide.
