April 11 – Boudhanath, Nepal | HH Gyangkhang Rinpoche is currently teaching Ngondro (Preliminary teachings) to more than 300 Buddhists in Nepal.
HH Gyangkhang Rinpoche, head of Namdroling Monastery, accepted the request of the Himalayan Sherpa Buddhist Culture Protection Society to bestow Ngondro Teachings for a month. The teachings started last April 6, 2019.
The Ngondro teachings are in the Namchoe lineage, titled ‘Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand’. During this one-month period, the participants will also accumulate prostrations, mandala offering, Varjasattva 100-syllable mantra and so on.
This is the third time this year that Gyangkhang Rinpoche has taught the one-month Ngondro teachings. The last one was in Namdroling Monastery. It concluded at the end of March 2019.
