Jun 27, 2022 – Bylakuppe, India | To commemorate Mipham Rinpoche’s Mahaparinirvana, the monks and nuns of Namdroling gathered together with ritual and offering.
Mipham Rinpoche (1846 – 1912) is an illustrious Buddhist master par excellence who lived in Tibet at the turn of the 20th Century. He wrote so many volumes and texts and taught so many excellent practitioners during his time, coupled with a life dedicated to retreat and teaching. Through his practice and works, his contribution to the Nyingma Tradition, Dzogchen lineage and Rime movement cannot be measured. Several of his commentaries on ancient texts are still studied extensively in the Shedra (monastic college) for monks and nuns.
