June 18 – Manila | The temple organized an online event on the commemoration day of Buddha’s Day of Enlightenment and Parinirvana. The monks performed a Buddha bathing ceremony.
Khenpo reminded the attendees to focus on the event. He said that the Buddha’s teachings and Buddha’s appearance are very rare to happen in this world. So, we should not waste such opportunity, even if people cannot attend the ceremony in person.
Then, the attendees prayed the Shakyamuni Buddha puja together.
