October 3 – Manila | We are pleased to announce the publishing of 2 new center books about the Tibetan Buddhist temple – A Guide to Merit-Making and Golden Steps.
In A Guide to Merit-Making, Khenpo Tashi has kindly explained the temple for the benefit of new and old visitors. It discusses in detail the symbols outside the temple, the altar offerings and instruments inside the prayer hall. It also discusses the Temple activities, from the basic up to an introduction of the public Empowerment ceremony.
He also explains the Buddhist principles and histories behind these instruments, symbols and activities, using basic language and memorable anecdotes from his teachers.
A Guide to Merit-Making is packed with lessons and stories that will make the reader appreciate the many temple instruments, symbols and activities. The reader will still find something useful in it in the years to come.
Golden Steps is a 80-page summary booklet of A Guide to Merit-Making. It contains the most essential information about the temple.
